The Tanner-Tremaine Shield

The shield was donated by Rosemary and Colin Tanner-Tremaine, former regional and national committee members of the SAPC. The shield is presented at the Inter-branch horse show to the winning branch overall. This does not go to the team with the most entries, but the best performers overall.

The participants from every branch are awarded points for their placing in every class they compete in. These scores are added together, and then divided by the number of participants. The branch who receives the highest average score is pronounced the winning branch for that year.

Trophy for the Best Turned out Branch

This trophy was donated to the region by the Newmarket branch of the SAPC. Every rider and mount who participates in the Inter-branch show is given a score for their turnout by the judges in each discipline. The total scores for members of each branch are totalled to calculate the best turned out branch.

First Pony / Lead Rein Victor Ludorum Trophy

This gorgeous Thelwell style trophy is awarded at the Inter-branch show to the pony / rider combination that attain the highest points across the disciplines.

Pony Rider Victor Ludorum Cup

The pony/rider combination who attain the most points across the disciplines at the Inter-branch show, are awarded the beautiful Victor Ludorum trophy.

Junior Rider Victor Ludorum Cup

The junior rider and horse who earn the highest points across the disciplines are announced the Victor Ludorum recipients for that year’s Inter-branch competition.
